- Arbitrage
- Placing bets on all possible outcomes of an event across different bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap system that eliminates the draw option and uses half‑goal increments to reduce ties.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for betting, used to manage risk and track wins or losses.
- Cash Out
- An option offered by the bookmaker to settle a bet early for a reduced payout, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Closing Line Value
- The difference between the odds you took when you placed a bet and the final odds at game time; a positive difference means you secured better odds.
- Free Bet
- A promotional credit given by the bookmaker that can be used to place a bet, with any winnings returned but not the original stake.
- Futures
- A bet placed on an event that will be decided in the future, such as which team will win the tournament.
- Handicap
- A scoring advantage or disadvantage given to a team to level the playing field for betting.
- In-Play
- Another term for live betting, referring to wagering that occurs after the event has started.
- Juice
- The commission that the bookmaker charges for taking a bet, usually built into the odds.
- Live Betting

- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win the match outright, with odds expressed as a positive or negative number.
- Odds

- Parlay

- Push

- Reverse Line Movement

- Rollover Requirement
